Dr. Hebbar trained as a medical student in Davanagere, India and then went to the United Kingdom and trained as a post graduate in integrated medicine. While in the UK, he was admitted to the “Royal College of Physicians”. He then moved to the United States and completed medical residency at Case Western University/Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Hebbar worked as an associate staff in the Dept. of Hospital Medicine at the Cleveland Clinical Foundation and was a clinical assistant professor for the Lerner College of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Bridgeport Hospital and was a trainee as an interventional endoscopist at Georgetown University Hospital.
Dr. Hebbar joined GCC in 2013 and his special interests include GERD, ERCP, and EUS.
