In 1997, our physicians opened the Endoscopy Center of Connecticut — the first free-standing ambulatory center of its kind in the state of Connecticut — so that our patients would have a comfortable, convenient, and cost-effective alternative to hospital-based procedures.
Today, we operate two endoscopy centers: one next door to our Hamden office in the Spring Glen Medical Center and one adjacent to our Guilford office in the Sound Medical Center. Both facilities offer:
- state-of-the-art technology for the most sophisticated care
- an efficient and dedicated nursing staff that specializes in endoscopy
- amenities like propofol anesthesia and private recovery rooms to help our patients feel at ease
- voluntary accreditation by the Joint Commission (formerly the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations)
